Slavik & Julia – Church Construction Update
June 22, 2016
My name is Igor Semenyuk and I live in this town called, Znamenovka. I got saved about three years ago when a missionary group from SMBS, called Solid Rock Mission got sent out to come live in this town with the purpose to preach and live out the Gospel, through which many have come to know the Lord with myself included. Thanks to the leaders, Slavik and Juliya Golovatyuk, and the servants of this missionary that I was able to re- analyze and re-direct my life. Before I got saved I lived a self centered and sinful life. At a point in my life, I lost my good health as well as some close relationships. I didn't have a purpose to live for.

I'm grateful for Solid Rock Mission because they supported me as I gave my life to God, which as a result, helped restore a lot of my relations between my parents, relatives and close friends. After I received my water baptism I clearly saw myself serving in the town of Znamenovka and nearby towns where people need to hear the Gospel. I was determined to share with others what I have freely received and that is, the love of God. Just as this missionary takes the Gospel all over the world, I too want to bring this good and amazing news wherever I go.

From the moment I gave my life to God I have been helping in any way that I can in church, with outreaches and evangelism. Every week we visit a town called Podpolnaya where we give out bread to the poor and tell them about Jesus. I am blessed when I see the people of this town starting to take care of each other and donating their bread to the neighbors around that are more in need of it.

I am joyfully serving here with what I have, and if God prepares place for me to go I will go with a joyful heart and serve there.

I am very grateful from the bottom of my heart for the people of Solid Rock Mission that have come to make such a difference in so many people's lives. Thank you all for prayers and your support. God bless you.
