Nazariy Poroshenko
FULL-TIME MISSIONARY
My name is Nazariy Poroshenko and I was born in 2002 in a family of believers. My parents are church pastors, so since childhood I have known the Bible and God. From a young age, I attended Sunday school with my sisters and it was there that I learned about the One who loved the world and came to save us. At that time, I did not even expect that it was in this ministry that I would stay forever....
Because at the age of 14, at a Christian camp, I learned about my calling and Jesus' dream for me. For the first time there in a field in the open air, I felt His love. And now my knowledge of God turned into a relationship with Him. And that year I began to serve in the children's ministry of the House of Prayer for All Nations church in Dnipro. Dnipro, as an assistant, and then as an assistant camp counselor.
Because at the age of 14, at a Christian camp, I learned about my calling and Jesus' dream for me. For the first time there in a field in the open air, I felt His love. And now my knowledge of God turned into a relationship with Him. And that year I began to serve in the children's ministry of the House of Prayer for All Nations church in Dnipro. Dnipro, as an assistant, and then as an assistant camp counselor.
My journey as a missionary began at the age of 14 when I learned about my calling to "BE A MISSIONARY and go to certain countries to serve children." But having such a dream, I did not know what, how, and where I could become a missionary. But God did. So in 2017, I entered the Purpouse Bible Institute, a correspondence Bible school. And in 2020, I was blessed with the finances for public speaking courses, where I met one of the mission leaders and she invited me to visit the mission and then I realized what the true will of God is.
From then on, I was invited to various mission projects such as missionary schools and camps. At the time, I was actively involved in the youth and children's ministry at my church. But I realized that my season in the church was beginning to end, but I did not know what to do next. It was a miracle then, but God created a meeting with one of the mission leaders and already in 2022, on December 3, I got to the missionary base and began to serve in the children's ministry. That's how I got on the path of fulfilling my dream.
